We started looking for a home in Provincetown as long time vacationers to the area with a very special idea in mind. Our search began over two years ago and we were lucky to find Lincoln Sharpless at Atlantic Bay Sotheby’s. As we come from out of town and vacationed in Provincetown, we did not want to spend our time on vacation looking at property and we didn’t want to be coming down to Provincetown to look at properties which didn’t have the right “look.” Early on it became apparent that Lincoln knew what we wanted and set out to find the right property for us. She set up appointments at times convenient for us for properties which were in the range of what we were looking for. Last spring we found the perfect spot and with Lincoln’s help we were able to arrange a closing date which met the needs of the Seller and us. After the inspection Lincoln was invaluable in helping to coordinate the repairs and following up on the results. She was also instrumental in facilitating the transition between the old owners and us by introducing us to caretakers, gardeners and trades people so that our new home would be well cared for in the off season by people we could trust. And in fact it was the consistency and honesty of her own actions that led us to others we could also trust.
